Thank you, Paul, for your kind words. It is a delight to hear from Uganda. The Center agrees that there is room for improvement and innovation for financial inclusion to embrace persons with disabilities. In fact, the Center for Financial Inclusion has been learning more about this topic and advocating it, including the publication (June 2010) of a concept note that you might enjoy. Here is a link: http://www.centerforfinancialinclusion.org/Document.Doc?id=830

We would welcome any case studies of how the persons with disabilities with which you work are accessing formal financial products and services. We are especially interested in learning about nonsubsidized activities. We would appreciate an opportunity to learn more--please share any information with the author of the concept note, Josh Goldstein, Principal Director for Economic Citizenship & Disability Inclusion (Jgoldstein@accion.org).

I was very much impressed with the work you are doing even to find that there is inclusion for people with disabilities, this being the most marginalized group of people who are not taken care of in all discussions.
